Small independent place with great choice of menu, original menu. We had lemon and raspberry tart, very tasty, the bacon and cheese toastie was also delicious according to our son highly recommended!

Great little cafe at the back of the antiques centre. Food is freshly cooked and tastes wonderful, great coffee too! We had the vegetarian breakfast and the hash.

An amazing little treasure this one! A nice calm space for a gorgeous breakfast and a great coffee. Peaceful and comfortable, a quietly understated Gem of a place nestled neatly in the corner of an absolute Aladdin’s cave of antiques. If you have a trip planned in east Suffolk I fully recommend you find them and go and enjoy breakfast there one morning.

The OX Cafe is a bright, welcoming and well thought out interior. The cakes are baked locally, coffee sourced from Rumour Coffee.Co in Beccles and the bread sourced from Harvey & Co, Rendlesham. We ate a homemade sausage roll and a slice of Earl Grey fruit loaf. Oh my goodness the best fruit loaf ever and hubby demolished the sausage roll We had a great chat with the new owner who was so enthusiastic and passionate about his cafe! We wish The OX Cafe every success for the future and we are looking forward to our return visit.

Lovely little place. For us the draw was that it’s a nut-free setting, our son is usually very limited and can’t eat in places like this but he could eat almost everything here, including any of the cakes & sweet treats! The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food delicious, and the antiques centre it’s set in is also well worth a rummage. We visited twice in a week!

Simple food made well. Good price. Very accommodating staff who pulled out a draw full of small toys and colouring stuff for my kids. Interesting setting in an antiques shop.

We arrived at just gone 12.30, after the breakfast cut off time, but the lady very kindly did us a full breakfast and a vegetarian breakfast which were absolutely delicious. The tastiest bacon and sausage I've had for a long time. Lovely bit of black pudding and sourdough bread, and loads of delicious mushrooms. Perfect. Then had a thoroughly good look round the antiques. Thank you for a lovely couple of hours spent. Definitely will go back.
